Soke's Message to the attention of Overseas members
Dear Overseas Members of Reigakudo,
We are very concerned that the coronavirus epidemic is not yet at an end and we understand that all
of you are experiencing some difficulties in your daily lives.
Tokyo Reigakudo was able to be established as a "General Incorporated Foundation" with Mrs.
Sasamori Ariko as its founder on May 18, 2020 (the date of birth of our predecessor, Sasamori Junzo).
The purpose of this is to preserve and pass on the Ono Ha Itto Ryu, Shin Muso Hayashizaki Ryu,
Chokugen Ryu and Shibukawa Ryu Juttejutsu which are the inherited schools of Reigakudo, and to
improve the training environment for our members.
We would like to create an environment in which all members could practice Ono Ha Itto Ryu equally,
and for those members who have improved in their "ability", we hope to grant licenses (Mokuroku and
Menkyo) to overseas members as well.
However, no matter how good your kata practice is, “ability” means nothing.
I think that everyone knows well what is important to learn in our practice from our former teacher
Sasamori Takemi’s way of living.
It is important to love people, to believe in people, and to put into practice the teachings of Ono Ha
Itto Ryu in your life : "Be straight, honest, and do not go down".
I pray from the bottom of my heart that our members can overcome these difficulties, acquire true
ability in both mind and technique, and contribute to Society.
We will plan various keikokai in the next year and beyond, so I am looking forward to seeing you there.
If you have any questions about the techniques, please do not hesitate to contact Reigakudo by email.
